2021 Honda Passport for Sale in Lincoln, RI
The 2021 Honda Passport is designed for adventure. This two-row crossover is sized between the compact CR-V and three-row Pilot, so it represents the perfect middle ground. The latest iteration receives a handful of small but notable updates. The base trim now comes with a standard 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, replacing the 5-inch non-touchscreen unit that preceded it. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also now standard on the base trim.
Trims and Powertrain
The 2021 Honda Passport is a two-row crossover available in Sport, EX-L, Touring, and Elite trim levels. All four get the same 3.5-liter V6 engine making 280 hp and 262 lb.-ft. of torque; its powertrain partner is a nine-speed automatic transmission. A front-wheel drivetrain is standard on the Sport, EX-L, and Touring trims, but the Elite gets standard all-wheel drive (which is available on the other trims). The 2021 Passport is ready for all of your weekend plans, including towing a small camper, boat, or snowmobile trailer: FWD versions can pull up to 3,500 pounds, and the AWD models can pull up to 5,000 lb. According to EPA estimates, FWD 2021 Honda Pilots achieve about 20 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway. AWD models, on the other hand, return 19 city/24 highway.
The base Sport comes with plenty of attractive features, led by keyless entry and push-button ignition, tri-zone automatic climate control, a one-touch fold-down 60/40 split rear seat, a tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel, and LED headlights, fog lights, and taillights. The EX-L adds heated side mirrors with integrated turn-signal indicators and memory function, a sunroof, a power tailgate, illuminated vanity mirrors, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and power-adjustable leather-upholstered heated front seats (memory functions for driver’s seat). The Touring supplies automatic LED headlights, power-folding side mirrors, a hands-free tailgate, roof rails, white ambient interior lighting, illuminated beverage holders, and heated rear outboard seats. At the peak of the trim range, the Elite trim provides rain-sensing windshield wipers, a heated steering wheel, a wireless phone charger, and ventilated front seats.
Safety and Technology
Each of the 2021 Honda Passport trims is outfitted with the Honda Sensing suite of active driver aids, including collision mitigation braking, road departure mitigation, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control. Automatic high beams are also provided across the board, and the EX-L and above add blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.
For connectivity and entertainment, the Sport receives an updated infotainment with an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth hands-free and audio streaming capability, a seven-speaker audio system, a center console USB charging port, and 12-volt power outlets in the front and center consoles. The EX-L gets SMS text message functionality and satellite and HD radio. The Touring is issued a Wi-Fi hotspot, integrated navigation with voice recognition, a 115-volt power outlet, and a premium 10-speaker audio system.
