2020 Honda Insight in RI

Overview

Have you ever wanted a fuel-sipping hybrid but didn’t want to sacrifice on style? Well, Honda’s got you covered with the 2020 Insight, which looks almost identical to the Accord. There are three trim levels to choose from: LX, EX, and Touring. Each of these gets its power from a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that supplies power to the AC synchronous permanent-magnetic electric motor which is joined to an electronic continuously variable transmission (e-CVT) driving the front wheels.

As you can imagine, fuel efficiency is stellar: the ‘20 Insight provides an EPA-estimated 55 mpg in the city and 49 mpg on the highway for the LX and EX versions and 51 mpg in the city and 45 mpg on the highway for the Touring. This eco-friendly automobile is also affordably priced and has a more refined interior than its rivals. Taking all of that into consideration, if you’ve been turned off by hybrids in the past, then the ’20 Insight is a great way for you to break into the segment with evident style and value.

The EX and Touring trims also get Honda’s LaneWatch camera system, which displays a view of the driver’s right-side blind spot.
